Headteachers Welcome
Welcome to our website. My name is Andrew Wootton and I have the honour of being the Headteacher at Isambard Kingdom Brunel Primary School (IKB). I joined the school in September 2024 and am excited to be taking the school into its second phase of development. I am proud to be the Headteacher of a school which is child-centered, aspires to give children lifelong memories and develop them into kind, respecting citizens who love learning. I have the pleasure of working with a talented and dedicated staff who have exceptionally high expectations of our pupils.
The safety and well-being of our pupils is our utmost priority. We have a robust safeguarding policy in place to create a secure and nurturing environment. Our team is vigilant in maintaining a culture of safeguarding, ensuring that all students feel safe, supported, and able to focus on their learning. We work closely with parents and external agencies to uphold the highest standards of student welfare, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
As a team, we also endeavour to develop our practice and environment, so children continue to thrive and excel academically and socially.
